Lifetime Brands Elects Fiona P. Dias to Board of Directors

WESTBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2006--Lifetime Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: LCUT), a leading designer, developer and marketer of nationally branded consumer products used in the home, today announced the election of Fiona P. Dias to its Board of Directors. Ms. Dias is Executive Advisor for Strategic Branding Initiatives to Circuit City Stores, Inc., a leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics. She was formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Circuit City. In that role, Ms. Dias oversaw all of the company's marketing efforts and had general management responsibility for Circuit City Direct, which includes the company's e-commerce, catalog, call center and business-to-business activities.

Ms. Dias's previous experience includes serving as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development for the Frito Lay Division of PepsiCo, Inc. and Vice President, Corporate Development, for Quaker State Corporation, Inc. Earlier in her career, she was a brand manager at The Procter & Gamble Company and a Senior Financial Analyst for Merrill Lynch & Co.
