Lifetime Brands Appoints CFO

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 2007--Lifetime Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: LCUT), a leading designer, developer and marketer of nationally branded consumer products for the home, today announced the appointment of Laurence Winoker as Senior Vice President - Finance, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer.

Robert McNally, who previously served Lifetime in those positions, is retiring. He will assist Lifetime Brands in the transition.

Mr. Winoker, 51, was most recently Senior Vice President, Controller and Treasurer of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., a holding company with controlling interests in a diversified portfolio of public and private companies. The portfolio includes Revlon, Inc., for which Mr. Winoker served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer from 1999 to 2003.

Prior to joining MacAndrews & Forbes in 1987, Mr. Winoker held various positions with Bastian Industries, Gulf & Western Industries, and Brout & Company. A Certified Public Accountant, he received a B.A. in Economics and Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from the City University of New York in 1978.
